Anastacia Webb: Where Science Meets Spirit - A Journey Through Therapy, Yoga, and Energy Healing
Where clinical insight meets spiritual alignment and embodied practice.
To get our readers familiar with you, tell us a little about yourself and the path that led you to becoming a Family Therapist?
I have known my whole life that I was meant to be a therapist, so it was no surprise that I entered into my calling so easily. But the biggest surprise to me has been the ways that I have grown and evolved as a therapist. I now know and understand so much more about how stress and trauma impact the body, and how that impact can lead to illness and/or disease. My purpose is so much greater than processing through trauma, it is helping others to release, heal and thrive through their lives.
Sometimes we need those transformative moments that completely shift everything. Can you share a pivotal moment in your entrepreneurial journey and how it shaped your approach moving forward?
Honestly, it was when my mother passed away from cancer in 2020. This shifted my perspective on life and my career. It was then that I knew I could not afford to stay where I was career-wise, and I need to take a chance and bet on myself. In a matter of months I quit my full time job to go into private practice. I started with a group, and then a year later I went solo! I have been solo for nearly two years now.
Some people look at the glass as half-empty, while others see it as half-full. In this digital era, how do you differentiate your business in seemingly oversaturated markets?
First and foremost, I am compassionate, genuine, and I show myself as I am on my social media pages. I fully believe that there are enough people in need that I can still find and attract the clients that work best with me. I speak directly to my target audience and I am not afraid to tailor my message directly to my clientele.
How do you approach goal setting for your business to maintain success? What are your methods?
For goal-setting, I assess where I am and what is the next milestone I want to achieve. I am also attentive to what is working and is not working for me personally and the business. With accountability, I have an amazing support system around me - my community is literally everything to me! My family, friends and loved ones are always following up, listening, and giving feedback on what I am working on.
As an entrepreneur, what systems have you put in place to manage your physical and mental health to maintain focus in your business?
I meditate every single day. I also make a point to get outdoors and into fresh air regularly. Another absolute must for me is staying in therapy; being a therapist in therapy is essential to maintaining wellness.
What has been the most impactful part of your journey? What can others learn from your experience?
Intuition and knowing when to make a move. There have been times where I had an inner knowing about what and when to make my next step, and there have been times where I waited a little too long and missed the window. Always tap in and listen to your intuition even when you may desire to do something else, it will not lead you astray.
